The sun and cooler weather provided the perfect backdrop for the Lanark County Harvest Festival in Beckwith today. Local farms, food producers, artisans and musicians from the area took centre stage today to showcase the rich variety of foods, arts and culture in Lanark County. Today’s Festival also helped to marked the 50th anniversary of the Lanark County Cattlemen’s Association. Congratulations to the organizers, vendors and musicians for continuing to put Lanark County on the map of success. I look forward to tonight’s meal featuring fresh local produce!
